It's that time of year again!
Mark your calendars...Plans are underway for the 5th annual BREW Midwest beaglefest at Hinckly Park in Park Ridge, IL.
Beaglefest will be a rain or shine event. The admission charge is per family
and is based on the number of beagles you bring: 0-1 beagles is $5 per family 2 beagles is $7 per family 3 or more beagles is $10 per family Our spring Beaglefest in Chicago last year was a great success and we hope this one will be even better... so please join us, bring your beagles, family and friends, and support BREW Midwest all at the same time! Beaglefest is a wonderful opportunity to run with the hounds, or sit with the hounds, or play with the hounds. It is a laugh filled afternoon of family entertainment. It is a chance to give back, for all of that beagle love you enjoy, to contribute to our efforts to save more of these wonderful creatures. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and come and relax, hang out with all the beagles, and have a great afternoon! And since this is a fundraiser for a very worthy cause, bring along a nice full wallet or checkbook as well – the beagles will appreciate it. We will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soft drinks as well as several BREW items (T-shirts, bandanas, bumper stickers, etc.) and we will be offering micrchipping. We will also have games, a raffle, and some other surprises! Wetnoze Photography will also be there again this year to take professional photographs of your beagles. For those of you who are planning to attend from out of town, we have made arrangements with La Quinta Inn, where we have stayed the previous 4 years. They are giving us a great discounted rate: $55 double occupancy per night+ tax. There are 20 rooms set aside for 05/18 and 20 rooms for 05/19. The rooms are blocked under "Beagle Rescue” so you must mention this when making your reservation. You MUST call the hotel directly at 847-439-6767 to get the discounted rate. The block of rooms will only be held until May 11, 2007 so make your reservations now. (If you go to their website to make reservations you will be charged the regular room rate of $105 per night.)
